@British_Airways Hi BA, please can someone contact me about an unresolved issue? I’ve been locked out my BA account since February & I’ve phoned, WhatsApped, emailed but no response. Someone has changed the email address on my account & it wasn’t me. I’m desperate to get it back!
@BootsHelp Hi Team, I ordered an item for next day delivery 2 days ago & I still have not received the item. Can I have my next day delivery postage refunded please?
@JennX0608@Freya2262@Raindropsmedia1 Yeah reading online it says the experts agree it’s not linked but any baby I’ve seen walk early tends to be quite advanced overall. Your daughter is case in point! I’ve just had my first baby so taking a keen interest in development milestones right now
@JennX0608@Freya2262@Raindropsmedia1 Out of interest is she advanced in other areas of her development as well? Just wondered if it’s linked to higher IQ later in life
@afashionoddity Are u supposed to get a free birthday cake with the Sparks card? I’ve been using Sparks since it launched & hardly ever get anything despite doing my weekly shop there!
@marksandspencer Hi Team, I received my ready to collect email on Tuesday but have been turned away every day this week when trying to collect in store as the Upminster store are unable to connect to the system. They told us to try again next week. Does this seem right?
Remember that time you were horribly ill with diphtheria?
Or that time you nearly died in agony with tetanus?
Or when you were paralysed by polio?
Or scarred for life by smallpox?
No?
I wonder why
Maybe because of vaccines
@Timberland_EU My order placed on 29th November still hasn’t been delivered and there has been no tracking updates for over a week. Please could you refund or replace my order before Christmas?
I know there are mixed reviews about Brampton Manor but what I will say on this …
I went to a state secondary school and a Grammar school for sixth form.
I don’t think I’d have gotten into Medicine &/or UCL if I didn’t make that switch.
What was the difference?
Not resources, not the facilities, not even the teachers (though some were exceptional).
Number #1 reason was the other students, the environment.
I realised about myself that I’m quite an extrinsically motivated person (i.e. I’m motivated by the people around me, if they’re lazy I become lazy, if they work hard I want to outcompete). It’s (imo) a negative trait I’m working on. Intrinsic motivation is *much* healthier with a little bit of extrinsic motivation to really push you.
In the Grammar school I was surrounded by super aspirational people. 20-40 get into Oxbridge every year. 10 get into Medicine every year.
My chemistry class had 8 people in it. 2 got into Oxbridge. 3 others got into Medicine. The rest at high ranking unis.
I went from feeling like I’m doing well in secondary school despite not working very hard at GCSEs to suddenly being average/below average. I felt so uncomfortable and initially wanted to go back to my secondary school cause I felt substandard.
Best thing happened by staying.
My work ethic shot up being surrounded by these hard working individuals. It makes a huge difference.
Honestly, surrounding yourself with motivated and hard working people is probably one of the single biggest actions you can take for a huge ROI on your life.
Do this for career/work, for Islamic studies for manners /adab. Anything you want to improve on.
This West Village home is insane
Anyone who’s lived in Manhattan knows just how insane it is to own a 600 ESF studio or classic 6
Much less this home
The carriage house and outdoor space is my favorite
Just saw someone on the Tennis Podcast say “You’re not just saying goodbye to Andy Murray as a tennis player, you’re saying goodbye to who you were when you were watching Andy Murray as a tennis player” BOY that got me. Hard.
