Loved this book and the character of Autumn. I found myself completely captivated by the haunting and mysterious nature of the island of Imber. It was dark, twisty and had me on the edge of my seat. 🖤

I’ve had this on my TBR for so long and my only regret is that I didn’t read it sooner. Historical fiction at its best! I loved the character of Edda (based on Audrey Hepburn) - what a strong and inspirational female.

Finally got my hands on a copy on this by @EarlyTrain and WOW! It is beautifully written in verse and is such a a powerful story. A book EVERY teacher needs to read and a must-have in any Y6 classroom.
