@Spectranet_NG Everyday you are clogging my mail and phones with double data. Yet, a complaint about payment transfer done since 7/10/2024 not reflecting in my account is yet to be resolved despite numerous mail exchanges and call to your customer centre.
Lagos State is Excelling in Transportation, Gender, Education, and Healthcare
While Lagos State has made significant strides in transportation, gender equality, education, and healthcare, progress in achieving certain other SDG goals has not been as swift. This may be attributed to the need for increased partnerships with the private sector, a topic that will be addressed during the summit on the 12th of September 2024.

With hundreds of millions of people in Africa living off less than $1.25 a day, poverty is not just a statistic, it is a harsh reality. This is why the first Sustainable Development Goal focuses on eradicating extreme poverty in all its forms by 2030.
The magnitude of this challenge is a pointer to how much needs to be done to achieve this target. There is a crucial need for major stakeholders, that is, governments, NGOs, NPOs, private organizations and even individuals to work together to ensure that all men and women, in particular the poor and the vulnerable, have equal rights to economic resources, as well as access to basic services.
What do you think can be done towards eradicating poverty in our society?

Here at the Lagos State Office of Sustainable Development Goals, I personally continue to lead our tireless efforts to ensure that every citizen, including those in the remote areas of the state, continue to experience all-round development in their standards of living. A way we are doing this is through the Lighthouse project.
For me, it is not just about providing amenities like access to healthcare or good education; it is more about cultivating genuine engagement with them to seek their opinions on the exact needs they want the government to meet. This way, we are not just transforming lives but also encouraging widespread participation in decision making at the governance level.
Looking forward, I am highly excited about the upcoming Lagos Sustainability Summit in July. This summit reflects our commitment to a resilient, sustainable city. Through this summit, my office will be aligning with stakeholders to foster partnerships, promote best practices, and explore innovative solutions to ensure environmental quality, public safety, and the well-being of Lagosians.
Together, we're shaping a brighter future for all Lagosians, one project at a time and through increased grassroot participation in governance processes.

Leave a mark on the world
Leave a mark on the world with your kindness and grace.
Leave a mark on the world with your inclusivity, giving to all a warm embrace.
Leave a mark on the world with your authenticity, in a time of the contrived and fake.
Leave a mark on the world with your strength, the resilience you exude.
Leave a mark on the world with that beautiful gratitude you never lose.
Leave a mark on the world you would be proud for your successors to view.
Leave a mark on the world that you would've loved to have been left for you.
Death is indeed joyless. Once again it has struck at the heart of a partnership that peerlessly redefined Nigerian banking.
Herbert died at 57, a year older than Tayo Aderinokun was when he tragically passed away in 2011, while serving as CEO of GTBank.
Both men were co-founders of successful Nigerian banking institutions, both lovers and patrons of art, both passionate about investing in education, and building the next generation.
Each man was also one-half of a friendship/partnership that will continue to intrigue and inspire.
May the souls of the dead rest in peace. Amen.
