On Monday my book club turned one year old!
A year ago I got 35 strangers together in a cafe to drink wine, eat cheese and talk about a book. One year later we are still loving it every month!
Was lovely to celebrate with my lovely gang who are no longer strangers but friends❤️

We absolutely loved having Theatre Company KATCH 22 visit @LBoysSchool and perform their version of Macbeth to the students - the Q&A session at the end was so engaging and students loved hearing their thoughts about the play! Some lovely questions from our boys too! 🎭
Last half term I absolutely loved working with Y9 on their poetry. They wrote poems called “Dear People of the World” about challenging stereotypes. Thomas wrote about being “short” but fierce in the Ice Hockey rink! Words are beautiful ❤️
This half term’s @LBoysSchool Literacy Newsletter is here! Showcasing all our proudest achievements on our Literacy Journey ❤️📖 https://t.co/gyQfMamWV1
We absolutely LOVED having @ClaireFayers with us for our Reading Week, she delivered an amazing author Q&A and a story writing workshop in the library. Thank you for being part of our Literacy drive Claire! The boys were so inspired to be creative.
