My new-to-me favorite text is Maddi’s Fridge By @LoisBrandt1 and illustrated by @vin_vogel. It is a wonderful text about something children may not know could be happening to their friends. #edu3725css
My resource https://t.co/TDhfdAQzqW is a great tool if you are looking for culturally inclusive authors. Edi does review books for the benefit of teachers. #KidLit#Edu3725css
Without proper instruction the students won’t be able to fully understand the concept of the lesson. As teachers our main priority is the students and their learning, we need to keep math positive #edu3610css
“but also considering how you identify yourself and how others identify you” is the part of reflection I feel is so lost and this site talks about how important it is as well as all the other pieces https://t.co/kV4La2ptnX
@FraserKalley I like that you brought this up because this is something that does happen and can happen often. It has a lot of good information and is almost calming to read as it is helpful and not just “you need to do this” and “you need to do that”
@MsHandahl thanks for sharing this Brie! Personally this is one i’ve always gone back and forth on with my opinions on it and this was a really great read, it brought up things I hadn’t thought about before.
I love the section on choice. I think allowing students to choose what type of assignment they wanna complete can really help get them excited about learning. The “menu” idea is so smart!! #edu3610css
