@MissThorburn@mathsjem@draustinmaths@MrTs_NQTs Go around and tighten compasses as they practice drawing gentle arcs and circles. Then if you have one, use a visualiser. Students then follow you step by step. Link to congruence for triangles.
@mathsjem Love Papers Society! We still run it after you set up when you worked with us! It’s great for engaging those aiming for higher grades - and does work!! Got to remember to buy the biscuits though!
Maths teachers - my blog can save you lots of time in finding resources for your lessons. I have resource libraries covering all topics in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 maths. They are full of helpful links and recommendations.

@mathsjem@greg_roberts86@christianp I used it with my year 9s this year- Kept a top 3 leaderboard but they didn’t do well as well as I think they could have done with the pressure in front of everyone! One claimed he got 39 points at home!
'This is not a small contribution to the world – it is another lovely, tiny step in the democratisation of mathematics': @honeypisquared finds a lot to love in @mathsjem's A Compendium of Mathematical Methods

@MissNP_@mathsjem It was really good, wish we could have been there longer! We did a session on the Lorenz cipher and it was perfect for the group, and really interesting. Very different weather from the summer!
