What an amazing visit from Ella Ashworth from @MountviewLDN. She came to inspire our children and spoke about her job as a stage manager. She bought along some fantastic props too! @PelhamPrimary_
Year 4 spent the morning exploring different Mayan artefacts, they asked questions and had to use their inference skills to work out what each artefact was used for. We then spent the rest of the day learning about Mayan masks and creating our own! @PelhamPrimary_
We’ve loved our Super Start to our topic ‘What a waste!’. We have explored what the phrase food security means and have donated to the local food bank to help others. We have planted our own food too which we can’t wait to watch grow so we can taste it! @PelhamPrimary_

Today, Year 4 were able to tick another experience off in their Primary Journals. We took a trip to the cinema, which for some children was there first time. It was a super opportunity and the film was great too! Thank you @cineworld @PelhamPrimary_

Today Year 4 have been invaded by a Viking warrior. It’s amazing when learning is bought to life and the children are able to be immersed. We love learning and it’s going to be a day to remember! @PelhamPrimary_
Reception classes have been exploring the story ‘Little Red Riding Hood’. Today they have a visitor from a police officer to talk about stranger danger and the importance of keeping safe. It’s important learning is meaningful. @PelhamPrimary_
This morning we went outside to our Forest School to collect and forage for natural materials. We are making recycled bird feeders as part of our Primary Journals. These journals allow us to have extra experiences which we will remember for life. @PelhamPrimary_
Our Dog Mentor joined our class circle time this morning so he could celebrate his 2nd birthday with the children. The children enjoyed giving him his presents and watching him tear them open. @PelhamPrimary_ @TheDogMentorUK

Illuminated letters were used by the Anglo-Saxons in 450AD. During our DT lessons we have applied our sewing skills to create our own embroidered letters. Here is a sneak peak but we will be sharing them all during our class learning showcase on the 6th March. @PelhamPrimary_
Today, we invited Yr5 and 6 parents in for a social media workshop. The presentation focused on the worries our children have when using online platforms. It’s important we all know how we can help keep our children safe online. We will run another session soon. @PelhamPrimary_
