@MissRStannard I did it with a ks3 MLD class and they got A LOT out of it. I’d say the story is easy enough to follow and you could adapt activities to go with it. I’ll have a think if I know anything else!

@UnofficialOA 5th year of teaching. Moved schools twice since my NQT year. Only had fantastic feedback for the last 4 years but STILL anxiety kicks in the week before an observation. All because of the feedback during NQT observations. At least I know I will never be a leader like that.

@TaSurrey @MissK_Egan @missroberts21 I’ve always interpreted it to mean “begin harsh/ strict and loosen up as you get to know them” but I always do the opposite and begin very nicely and get harsher (as I get more tired I suppose 😂)

If you tell children they need to “catch up” they will believe they are behind in the same way if you tell them they are “naughty” they will identify as being naughty. If you tell children everything will be ok and value all they have done remotely, they will be ok.

@_eyfsteacher @MrTs_NQTs When preparing, make a list of 3-5 things that you definitely want to make sure they know about you and during the interview make sure you bring them all up otherwise mention them at the end! Also, always link answers back to real life situations you’ve been in!
