@BleacherReport@okcthunder Would the Spurs have won if Fox and Castle were unable to play? Of course. Thunder didnt have Ajay and J-Dub. Big loss for OKC
OKC was missing an All Star in JDUB and another high level starter in Ajay Mitchell and they lost by 6 in 7 games series. SAS took advantage of an injury ravaged team, nothing more. Oh and OKC has 2 lottery frps coming in next year and the center who was last years frp who tore his acl.
@BradeauxNBA@iiibn9 Championship teams dont miss free throws. Its a sign of being a serious team, your stars hit the freebies. Shaq may have been the exception to the rule but he was so dominant in every other aspect of his position.
@SadNetsSaveUsBG@BradeauxNBA So they would tank to avoid the anti-tanking rules? They have alot of cap space. Memphis, Chicago, Sacramento, New Orleans, Milwaukee will all be very very bad next year.
@JTGatlin Cannot stand San Antonio. The way Wemby reacted when Houston didn’t get the first pick just can’t be forgotten. SAS are the same as DAL, I will never root for them. I want OKC to get to the finals and lose to NYK.
@DeItaone Ceasefire? Markets dont care if there is a war they only go up. If the war continues up, if the war ends up more. Very difficult to be anything but a bull in this market environment.
@AstrosKnower Alvarez is injury prone. Just trade him for a haul and rebuild, its not so difficult to understand. Someone has to tell Crane whats best for th organization not just for their job.
Ai may cause job losses but the employment crisis is when the Ai gets put into humanoid robots. Walmart, Amazon and UPS are the three largest employers in the US. Nearly 70% of the work they do can be replaced by robots. 90% of shipping and trucking can be replaced. Retail and fast food restaurants, hotel labor, farming, transportation, all replaced by humanoid robots. This is coning in the next decade and yes it will be a crisis. Unemployment of 50% is possible.
He is worth more to Houston as the centerpiece trade of a rebuild. Sell high, get multiple top prospects and rebuild. Yordan us injury prone and Houston will not contend for years with this roster as is constructed. One great player on an awful team is more frustrating then selling high and watching 4 high end prospects develop together.
@esidery Both those trades you mentioned were huge failures. Frps are much more valuable after the lottery rules change and no one is giving 4frps for anyone who is not a bonafide all star. Not gonna happen.
This is the way. Great start to a rebuild. Now trade Alvarez for 3 top 50 prospects and 2 top 150 prospects. Then Peña for 2 top 100 prospects and 1 top 150. Finally, Hunter Brown for 2 top 100 prospects. If you can flip Walker for a good prospect or 2 you do it as well. This instantly becomes the best farm in MLB and we have 2 high draft picks this year. Next year we let the kids develop and the big contracts of Altuve and Correa come off the books and reload after the lockout.
Getting into the playoffs to be destroyed as the worst team there isn’t an accomplishment. We want to be contenders, Champions, and settling for mediocrity is not entertaining. This team needs to blow it up. The fans will support a rebuild and get excited about young talent. Stop the suffering. Right now the team is nearly unwatchable.
