So many people disregard #nuclear because it is excluded and discriminated by some politically active and powerful anti-nuclear countries.
And some people have the nerve to claim that anti-nuclear activism has not really played a big role in why the industry has been in trouble.
Biden, at a fundraiser, expresses regret over the name of the Inflation Reduction Act: “I wish I hadn't called it that because it has less to do with reducing inflation than it does to do with dealing with providing for alternatives that generate economic growth.”
Those citing “Oppenheimer” as a cautionary tale for AI about the need to regulate dangerous technology may wish to consider that, after years of nuclear activism and regulation, we’ve kept its murderous uses and have essentially banned its unique promise: clean, limitless energy.
Preach. Teach. Reach. Thank U for this tweet. It shows despite public schools attempting to limit black history Hip Hop properly used is a teaching tool. Love and Respect
guys i hate to tweet stuff like this but it’s really important. 🧵
the kosa bill is going to be passed under the guise that it’s going to protect kids online but it’s going to lead to mass censorship instead.

Monopoly teaches as much about capitalism as Risk teaches about colonialism -- which is to say, not very much.
But the origins of the game are a pretty fascinating lesson in the trappings of IP law.

Well, no, the Gulf Stream isn't going to collapse. The Guardian article title confuses the "Gulf Stream" with "AMOC". The text mangles concepts.
But what this tweet is about is the inability to have a rational conversation. On one hand, the climate-denialists will point to this mistake as proof it's all a hoax. On the other hand, neither can you point out that there's a mistake without being labeled a climate denialist by the climate-orthodoxy.
Moreover, a key point is as the subtitle suggests, "scientists disagree" about the AMOC problems. Again, we have the two sides, with climate-deniers automatically taking the side of those who disagree here, and the climate-orthodoxy reflexively taking the most extreme position, calling anybody who disagrees a climate-denialist.
Most people are neither, but yet, you still can't have a rational conversation about this. Your agenda is science, but they can only see a political agenda. Your words signal which side you are on, climate-denial or the climate-orthodoxy.
I'm a centrist. My agenda is good science and good journalism. I'll criticize bad science and bad journalism even when it's taking a side I agree with. This concept is inexplicable to those for whom the only agendas are pro/anti climate-change.

WARNING: this video shows Ohio cop Ryan Speakman disobeying orders and releasing a dog to maul Jadarrius Rose, who was unarmed and already surrendering to police.
Jadarrius was being detained for failing to stop for a vehicle inspection. Speakman apparently thought, against orders, that Jadarrius should be ripped apart by a dog for this.
Thanks to qualified immunity and police union protection, Speakman will almost certainly face zero punishment, or even lose his job, for this violent assault.
Imagine if you or I did this to Speakman or one of his fellow officers. What would happen to us?
It is long past time to end qualified immunity and police unions.
BREAKING: A federal court found the Biden administration’s new asylum ban illegal.
The administration now faces a choice: Follow the law, or try to block the ruling from taking effect in 14 days, leaving people seeking safety in grave danger.
The LAPD refuses to release the names of officers who blew up a neighborhood after detonating a bunch of confiscated fireworks.
When LA Times reporters tried to figure out the cops' names, the LAPD and police union called them "unethical" and "stalkers."
