@ohokvontae I'd trade 3 of the point guards not named Ja or Ty if they decide to draft a PG regardless of the timeline bring Mike Conley back to retire with the Grizzlies and teach them to be the cities team and healthy professionals
@ohokvontae Coach, you're right but I'll agree that I can't change the way you feel. You are a person that has laid out the facts and not emotions in the past. I didn't mean to offend.
@ohokvontae Timeline aside I like the direction of the team and how they changed philosophy on picks.
Going towards height and length was a great move. I do like our point guards but we have too many and other than Ty they are all small.
@JoeMullinax If he doesn't want to re-sign with the team then you trade him at the deadline for more players and picks and our drafted players should be ready to fill the void if he leaves.
@StatsSAC We would be the 3rd party, a filter to move players. Boston and Milwaukee are the stars of the trade and would incur the value of the assets in the trade. The Grizzlies would send players and maybe one pick to make this work.
@geoff_calkins The city has always prioritize spending money in downtown, midtown and east Memphis. It's diverted money appropriated for Whitehaven, Orangemound, North and South Memphis to those areas. This isn't anything new it's just the power structure in Memphis is embarrassed
@JoeMullinax Joe!!!! Memphis!!!!!
Jaren Jackson Jr is a stretch 5 in the right system. He's 7 ft 250/260 that looks like a center to me. He becomes one the biggest mismatch in the NBA at the center position and his rebounding goes up based on his location in the scheme. This is genius ๐
This is what I want ZK to get in the NBA draft.
Skill, Size and Athleticism
Then he can trade 3 of the point guards not named Ja or Ty. Sign Mike Conley Jr. hope KCP signs and get Precious Achiuwa. Make all the 4/5's train with Z-Bo and Marc, Wings TA and we're back in the mudd
@PAKA_FLOCKA The Grizzlies roster has one glaring need.
Size!!! After Edey we have Santi,Gibson and Hendrix. We have 6 PG's w/Small and 6 wings w/ Mashack. Why do you want to get more small players? Who are you wanting to trade? Are we getting a center in free agency? Who and at what price?
@AndrewSHoops2 The Grizzlies aren't drafting a point guard in this draft. They have Ja, Ty, Pip, Clayton, Cam and Small (2-Way) on the roster unless he's the 2nd coming of Penny Hardaway.
@ohokvontae Coach, I have a question other than health the teams biggest concern is lack of size. You usually don't follow the masses with your observations. What does drafting undersized PF and C do to help the roster? With these picks whose whose being traded how would address the needs?
@badams2s@toxicassMemphis@JoeMullinax My statement isn't against keeping him or letting him go. It's about helping the organization get something better than what's been projected for him because of the chatter around his possible off season trade. I personally would have a talk with him about a mid season trade.
