@SamCoatesSky Fascinating! The left wing will feel like going apes*it. Whether they do, of course, is another matter (just recall the welcoming front page of the Morning Star on 2 May 1997).
@TedUrchin@UKLabour 🤣🤣🤣meanwhile, back in the real world, you were licking the jackboots of a berk who said stuff like this before he'd even got into power
@SangitaMyska Really? He might actually quite enjoy having a PM who actually answers questions and doesn't hold Parliament in contempt.
I mean - that is what Burnham will do, isn't it? I mean, he won't just copy Starmer's approach, will he - or will he?
@matthewsyed What a very mediocre post.
Starmer did so many things worth hating him for that most members of the British public were bound to find one that inspired them. He even backed the reintroduction of Supplementary Vote for mayoral elections - despite its being an undemocratic system.
@_CallumAnderson Starmer supports the reintroduction of Supplementary Vote for mayoral elections. SV is an undemocratic system.
He was never fit to be PM.
@JackieDP There's nothing wrong with anger. The only question is whether the anger is constructive or not.
BTW there's no such thing as "the British constitution".
@AnnReynold73527@labourpress@UKLabour I agree.
Just to let you know: this meme has an error in it ("to to"). You might like to revise it before you post it again.
@whendemocracy@TedUrchin@UKLabour Good points.
Re: your bio statement "Abolish Lords" - what's your comeback if someone says that, if that happened, a government with a secure majority in the Commons would be given the unimpeded power to impose its ideas on the country?
@RogersHistory Authoritarian nutcase. No concept of freedom of speech. Rachel Reeves wrecked the economy with terrible anti growth policies. Likewise with Ed Miliband and his net zero madness. David Lammy banned jury trials . An awful, awful man.
