They told us our ancestors are not our ancestors! our language is not our language, our culture is not our culture! Our epics are not our history but that of invaders. But who were the invaders? There is nothing! No race no invaders! What liers! #NoAryans they spin tales out of thin air.
BREAKING: Edmonton police have arrested a 22-year-old man they say has suspected ties to the “For Brothers” organized crime network, which investigators link to extortion targeting South Asian business owners across Canada.
Safaldeep Singh was initially arrested during a May traffic stop in Edmonton, where police say officers seized drugs and a loaded firearm. Investigators later searched his residence, alleging they found evidence linked to vehicle re-vinning operations connected to extortion investigations.
Singh now faces additional charges in Edmonton, including trafficking in property obtained by crime, possession of stolen property, and unauthorized possession of a firearm. Police also arrested him on Canada-wide warrants from Ontario alleging conspiracy to commit murder and extortion. He has since been transferred to Ontario to face those charges.
Edmonton police say the investigation involved the Canada Border Services Agency and Peel Regional Police and forms part of Project Insight, an initiative targeting South Asian extortion networks operating across jurisdictions.
Speaking at the CoHNA 5th Hindu day of Advocacy, Rep. Buddy Carter, (R-GA) reiterated the importance of faith and the uniqueness of the American system, “Freedom of religion is one of our greatest rights. Vandalism of worship centers is unacceptable. We must all come together and object to it."
"As we celebrate America's 250th, thank you Hindu Americans for your part in this great experiment of democracy and for caring enough to advocate here today."
He added, “we have a strong, robust Jewish community, obviously a Protestant community, and a Hindu community. We're talking about everyone coming together. We're talking about everyone in this great country, in this great experiment that we call democracy, that we for 250 years have lived in the greatest country in the world.
How fortunate are we? How blessed are we?”
We sure agree @RepBuddyCarter 🙏🏿

Yesterday, on Canada Day, I was honoured to celebrate Edmonton’s designation as the 474th International City of Peace. Congratulations to the Rotary Club of Edmonton West and Rotary International District 5370 for making this milestone possible. #yeg#yegcc#edmonton
Pieter with his pay masters! The ‘journalist’ is miffed he was denied access to a private Hindu advocacy event! He was skulking along the hall & then opened a closed door & snuck in. Then refused to leave until Capitol police escorted the Hinduphobe out! Good riddance!
Rep. Sanford Bishop, (D-GA) called out rising anti-Hindu hate at our day of Hindu Advocacy on the Hill.
"Hinduphobia is un-American. Georgia was the first state to condemn anti-Hindu hate. We must remain vigilant and address it here in the U.S."
It was a privilege to see and hear his perspective as one of the most senior members of the House.
"America is a beautiful mosaic, and the Indian-American and Hindu diaspora is a major, vibrant part of it. Let's learn from Hindu faith's emphasis on tolerance, equality, and interconnectedness."
Thank you @SanfordBishop for your service and for sharing your experience with us. 🙏
@USCIRF@TLHumanRights@HolocaustMuseum publishing atrocity reports on India & Hindus, holding hearings based on same atrocity lit, u totally miss voices of Indian minorities. No minority/global majority is fleeing India but flowing in from neighborhood! How’s that oppression?
"Attacks on temples and places of worship are concerning. We must call out hate wherever we see it — don't stay silent. Embrace who you are as Hindus. Being different becomes cool later in life — be proud now!" Rep. Suhas Subrahmanyam, (D-VA) opened the event with these powerful words.
"We must teach our kids that being true to yourself is okay, even when attacked. Advocacy like #CoHNA protects future generations."
Thank you @RepSuhas, for your support and for sharing your poignant story of being sworn in on your family's Bhagavad Gita at our #HinduDayOfAdvocacy

"Temples vandalized and hateful rhetoric against Hindu Americans is despicable. We must all stand up, be vocal, and fight it. Hindu Americans are valued for their patriotism and enormous contributions to our communities and economy." — said Rep. Zoe Lofgren, (D-CA) as she heard expert testimony from @ncri_io at CoHNA’s 5th Hindu Day of Advocacy.
"Data shows 'caste' bills are not only discriminatory but counterproductive. Thank you to the experts for this important presentation."
We thank @RepZoeLofgren for understanding and highlighting these critical issues that drive #Hinduphobia and impact religious freedom. 🙏🏿
@patrickbrownont Mr. Mayor,
Is this your groundwork for a run for provincial / federal leadership of Conservatives?
Because as a suburban official halfway around the world from Sri Lanka, your words have less relevance than a fly on an elephant’s behind.
Stick to serving your constituents.
Canada literally allows referendums on Khalistan separation from India inside Canada, while such referendums are ILLEGAL in India.
Will India seek criminal charges against Canadian officials for hosting Khalistan independence referendums?

@nurdogandiyorki Impressive, 12 unemployed theater school drop outs irritate people trying to to work, to school and make a life for themselves so that they don’t end up like these pathetic losers.
😂
The @npovmedia investigation found that the @HinduAmerican@Wikipediapage is being vandalized by 4 editors and 1 super editor—one of whom who created & manages Audrey Truschke’s Wiki page, and one with disclosed ties to Hindus for Human Rights.
Think of the unethical, devious and brutal aspects of this tactic. They will stop at nothing to try and discredit & cancel a 22 year old Hindu American advocacy voice in this country.
This fight will only make us stronger. We have our community with us.
