Happiness Lives Between the Pages 📚✨

There is a special kind of happiness that appears when I find a book I truly love. The world around me becomes quieter, time seems to loosen its grip, and an ordinary afternoon suddenly opens into somewhere completely new.

Today, Miu wandered between shelves filled with old stories, unfamiliar titles, and books waiting patiently to meet their next reader. I love that feeling of running my fingers along the spines, reading the little descriptions, and wondering which book might become my next favorite. Choosing a book feels a little like choosing a door without knowing what kind of world is waiting behind it. 🤍

When I read something I enjoy, I am not simply following words across a page. I am walking through places I have never visited, listening to thoughts I have never considered, and meeting characters who sometimes feel surprisingly real. A beautiful story can make me smile in a quiet room, break my heart without making a sound, or leave me staring at the final page because I am not ready to say goodbye.

Reading also gives me permission to slow down. There are no notifications demanding an answer, no need to hurry, and no pressure to be anywhere else. It is just me, the book, and a few peaceful moments that belong entirely to us.

Some books entertain us, while others arrive at exactly the right time and gently change the way we see ourselves. They remind us that someone else has felt lonely, hopeful, confused, brave, or afraid too. Sometimes one sentence can stay with us longer than an entire conversation.

I also love returning to an old favorite. Even though the words remain the same, I am no longer the same person who read them before. A familiar chapter can reveal something completely different depending on what my heart has experienced since the last time I opened it. 🌿

You do not need an enormous library or hours of free time to enjoy reading. A few pages before bed, a chapter during a quiet lunch, or ten peaceful minutes with your morning coffee can become a tiny sanctuary in a busy day.

Today, Miu is choosing a book, finding a warm corner, and letting the rest of the world wait for a while. Perhaps happiness does not always need to be loud. Sometimes it is simply the soft rustle of turning pages and the excitement of wondering what happens next. 📖☀️
