San Francisco Fire Department is sending 18 firefighters on one task force of four type-6 fire engines, one type-1 fire engine and one supervisor.
This task force of 18 SFFD firefighters is going to the Thompson fire in Northern California on an immediate need request under the California mutual aid system. @Cal_OES
#SJFD is sending 18 personnel and four Type 1 fire engines to Butte County as part of a strike team responding to the #ThompsonFire. @MilpitasFire also providing four personnel and one Type 1 engine to complete the strike team.

#ApacheFire. The evacuation shelter in Oroville at the Nazarene Church has been closed due to the proximity of the fire. The new shelter is located at the Butte Co Fairgrounds in Gridley.
REMINDER!!! All outdoor residential burning is suspended. We continue to receive calls regarding residents burning. Please be a good neighbor and adhere to this restriction.
The only exception is in the city limits of Biggs and Gridley where a permit is required year-round.
