Statement from the Nobel Foundation
One of the core missions of the Nobel Foundation is to safeguard the dignity of the Nobel Prizes and their administration. The Foundation upholds Alfred Nobel’s will and its stipulations. It states that the prizes shall be awarded to those who "have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind," and it specifies who has the right to award each respective prize. A prize can therefore not, even symbolically, be passed on or further distributed.

China and India have already agreed to delay major loan repayments, and the $500m Sukuk maturing in 2026 will be refinanced.
What we will not do is surrender our sovereignty and independence just to settle loans. That was your way when you were Defence Minister. More busy defending the interests of a foreign country than the Maldives.
Hope this clears things up, “ordinary Mariya.”
I was briefly suspended for stating a substantiated fact: Israel and the US are committing genocide in Gaza, per ICJ's plausible ruling, UN famine reports, Amnesty's evidence of intent, and B'Tselem's documentation. Elon called it a "dumb mistake" and reversed it swiftly. Truth endures.
