The biggest takeaway from this course was definitely the topic of disruptive technology, the understanding of this topic really allowed me to think about technology differently, and really asses the disruption of new emerging technologies. #DigiTechF22B
@DCIMDania That's a really good prediction, its just I feel like gas cars are a very different than electric cars that they just won't be gone for good.
One prediction I have about the future of manufacturing is that it will be AI dominant, there will be no more people working in factories, everything will be automated and much more efficient #DigiTechF22B
@NataliePresRU Video streaming services are taking over if they already haven't, the number of people that still have or use cable have gone down the past couple years as streaming services starting blowing up.
@LilyVollenbroek That's a very interesting topic that I believe isn't discussed enough, it'll be very fun exploring this new technologies, and it's impacts on society.
@ru_andrew02 Very interesting topic, since the Metaverse will be one of the biggest technologies to ever launch and will have a huge impact on society.
My EDTP topic is virtual reality, I decided to chose this topic. since I believe that VR will be used for almost everything in the future, since the possibilities are endless, it will definitely cause many changes in our society, and will be a disruptive technology

@LilyVollenbroek Working from home is definitely becoming a social norm, some like it and think it good and some others don't. But remote work could definitely be the future, therefore people won't have to leave their house to get to their job anymore.
@jxxkie True, even more people now work remotely due to the having access to technologies like zoom, which allows them to manage work from home just like they would in person.
A social norm that exists now that didn't exist 10-15 years ago is teens being on social media and smartphones all day instead of going outside. #DigiTechF22B
