@obyezeks If you back up all documents on your phone or PC, you don't lose them when you click "reset to factory settings", but you could lose every personalized configuration and setting you had on the device, which in this case could be of value in determining if there was malpractice

@obyezeks Depends on the data of interest. If properly backed-up, the data generated during the election should be fine after reconfiguration. But data that could be of legal interest like access and configuration records and settings during the presidential election would be lost.
