I run two companies and I'm building a third , a software platform that came out of solving a real problem in my own business. Without AI, that product doesn't exist. Not because I lack the ideas, but because I would have needed a team, a runway, and permission from gatekeepers I don't have access to.

AI is the most democratizing technology I've encountered in twenty years of building. It's not taking jobs from people , it's giving people who never had a shot the ability to build, ship, and compete. Founders, small business owners, public servants, tradespeople, writers, creatives: everyone gets more leverage, not less.

A tax on AI isn't a tax on Big Tech. It's a tax on the next generation of people trying to build something from nothing. The companies you're trying to reach can afford it. The people I work with every day cannot.

If the goal is to invest in people, the answer is to get out of the way of the tool that's already doing it.
