You omit major facts in your little rant about “planters” starting a war. (Which they did not).

All of those men were stating the fact slavery was protected by the Constitution under the 10th Amendment.

Therefore, it should be up to the people of Kansas to decide if they want slavery within their sovereign borders, it is not up to the people of Massachusetts what people in Kansas want to do.

Yet Lincoln calls for 75,000 troops on April 15,1861 to invade southern states.
His action of calling for troops caused Virginia, Arkansas, North Carolina and Tennessee to secede (note it was not “slavery” as you falsely claim)

The decision to go to war was Lincoln’s alone
