سارا بلوچستان اس وقت جل رہا ہے۔ امن و امان کی صورتحال انتہائی تشویشناک حد تک بگڑ چکی ہے۔ زیارت جیسے علاقے جو کبھی اپنی قدرتی خوبصورتی، سیاحت اور صدیوں پرانے جونیپر کے جنگلات کے لیے جانے جاتے تھے، آج تشدد اور بدامنی کی لپیٹ میں آ چکے ہیں۔ یہ صورتحال اب کوئٹہ کے نواحی علاقوں اور ہنہ اوڑک تک بھی پہنچ چکی ہے۔

اس سنگین سیکیورٹی بحران کی بنیادی وجوہات کا جائزہ لینے کے بجائے وفاقی حکومت، اس کے زیرِ اثر میڈیا، بلوچستان کی کٹھ پتلی صوبائی حکومت اور اس کی سوشل میڈیا بریگیڈ مسلسل بلوچ اور پشتون قوم پرستوں، بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی اور اس کی قیادت، اور پُرامن انسانی حقوق کے کارکنوں کو بدامنی کا ذمہ دار ٹھہرانے میں مصروف ہیں۔

افسوسناک امر یہ ہے کہ نہ میڈیا، نہ سول سوسائٹی اور نہ ہی دیگر متعلقہ حلقے حکومت کو اس کی عوام دشمن پالیسیوں، سیکیورٹی کی ناکامیوں، بدعنوانی ناقص طرزِ حکمرانی، قانون کی عملداری قائم کرنے میں ناکامی، اور شہریوں کے جان و مال کے تحفظ میں اپنی ذمہ داریاں پوری نہ کرنے پر جوابدہ ٹھہرا رہے ہیں۔ اس کے برعکس، سوال اُن لوگوں سے کیے جا رہے ہیں جو امن، انصاف اور انسانی حقوق کی بات کرتے ہیں۔ ایک جمہوری اور مہذب معاشرے میں ایسی سنگین ناکامی کی صورت میں ذمہ دار حکام سے توقع کی جاتی ہے کہ وہ اپنی ذمہ داری قبول کریں اور اپنے عہدوں سے مستعفی ہوں، مگر یہاں جوابدہی اختیار کرنے کے بجائے دوسروں پر الزامات عائد کیے جا رہے ہیں۔

جب کوئی حکومت مذاکرات، مکالمے اور پُرامن سیاسی سرگرمیوں کے تمام دروازے بند کر دے، پُرامن تحریکوں اور اپنے حقوق کے لیے جدوجہد کرنے والوں کو مجرم قرار دے، اُن کے خلاف سوشل میڈیا پر منظم پروپیگنڈا چلائے، اور عوام کے حقیقی مسائل کے حل کے بجائے سوشل میڈیا پر بیانیہ بنانے کو ترجیح دے، تو ایسے افسوسناک واقعات نہ صرف حیران کن نہیں رہتے بلکہ قابلِ پیش گوئی بن جاتے ہیں۔

میں اپنے تمام پشتون بھائیوں اور بہنوں کے ساتھ مکمل یکجہتی کا اظہار کرتی ہوں اور اس تشدد سے متاثر ہونے والے تمام خاندانوں سے دلی تعزیت اور ہمدردی کا اظہار کرتی ہوں۔

Case Update: Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Her Associates

The central organiser of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee, Dr. Mahrang Baloch, together with her associates, has today been transferred to Quetta's Huda Prison on judicial remand after spending more than two months in police custody.

For the past six months, Dr. Mahrang and her colleagues have been subjected to unlawful and unconstitutional detention. They were held for over three months under the 3 MPO at Huda Prison, Quetta, without legal justification. Following this, they were arrested on the basis of fabricated FIRs and placed under repeated police remand for more than two months. Today, their police remand has ended, and they have been moved to judicial remand in jail.

Dr. Mahrang and her associates are widely recognised as prominent voices for human rights and public representation in Balochistan. Their arrest is broadly viewed as an act of reprisal for speaking out against human rights violations and an attempt to silence their voices.

We call on Dr. Mahrang's supporters and human rights defenders worldwide to raise their voices and demand the immediate release of Dr. Mahrang and her associates

I rarely step beyond Pashtun affairs, but today I will.

Zubair Baloch, student leader and ex-chairman of BSO-Pajjar, was killed by Pakistan security forces today.

Zubair Baloch was active around enforced disappearances and student rights. He had already been subjected to enforced disappearance in December last year, with family protests demanding his release.

His killing follows a well worn pattern of enforced disappearances and extra-judicial killings of students and activists in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. These are not isolated cases, they are part of a pattern of fear to silence young voices who should be building their futures and not facing the prospect of bullets or disappearances.

I believe his death leaves a wife without a husband and children without a father. I would like to extend my full sympathies to the family.

I urge @FCDOGovUK @YvetteCooperMP @HFalconerMP @DanielZeichner @AusHCPak @AlboMP and the @UNHumanRights @UN to look closely at what is happening in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Killings like Zubair Baloch’s go beyond being regional issues, they are a human rights issue that deserves your attention and your voice.

Advocate Zubair Killed by Pakistan Army — Irrefutable Evidence of State Terrorism

Advocate Zubair Baloch was a peaceful political activist and a staunch defender of human rights. In Dalbandin, Chagai district, Balochistan, the Pakistan Army raided a house and killed him along with his companion, Nasir Baloch.

Shamelessly, the Pakistan Army has admitted responsibility for this attack and the killings.

This was an act of pure state terrorism. Advocate Zubair was a powerful voice in Balochistan — speaking against enforced disappearances, the plunder of resources, and ongoing human rights violations. For this very reason, he was deliberately targeted and assassinated.

The Pakistani military continues to brand the Baloch national struggle — a genuine, deeply rooted indigenous movement against occupation — as “foreign interference,” even using terms like “Fitna-al-Hindustan” to mislead the world. Such propaganda reflects the state’s immaturity, its hatred, and its desperation to delegitimize a just, homegrown movement.

These attacks make no distinction — women, children, and peaceful activists are not spared. The killing of Chairman Zubair is further undeniable proof that Pakistan seeks to silence every voice raised for Baloch rights.

Chairman Zubair Baloch, former Chairman of BSO (Pajjar) — the student wing of a parliamentary party — was a law graduate committed to peaceful politics. His assassination exposes the state’s systematic attempt to crush peaceful dissent and wipe out an entire nation.

This is part of the ongoing #Baloch #genocide. Today, Pakistan stands at the United Nations (@UN ) pretending to champion human rights — yet the truth is clear: its army tramples every law, storms homes, and kills unarmed civilians, women, and even infants.

The ongoing UN session ( #UNGA80 ) must address this openly — and Pakistan must be held accountable for its crimes.
