One of my friend who was scoring 500+ mark in GTs ended up with a 1lakh+ rank in NEETPG. A drop from 99% to 47% seems impossible. Is this another scam? How was normalization done? The NBE should release raw scores along with the questions and answers.@NMC_IND@JPNadda#neetpg2024
BIG BREAKING: "We are deeply concerned about the inhuman working hours of resident doctors across the country. Some doctors work 36-hour shifts. The committee appointed should look into streamlining the on-duty hours of all doctors. 36 or 48 hour shifts are just inhuman!" says CJI DY Chandrachud

Peer pressure is a universal challenge, but in the medical field, it takes a heavier toll. From the very first day of MBBS, medical students are often caught in a web of unnecessary comparisons. They constantly worry if they are studying enough, if they’re keeping up with their peers, or if they’ll ever measure up. This pressure doesn’t ease with time; it evolves. Once you start practicing, the comparisons shift to how your colleagues are advancing, what prestigious places they’re studying at, or how they seem to be doing better. It can make you question your abilities, your choices, and even your worth as a doctor.
This issue is even more complex for those who entered the medical field due to societal expectations rather than personal passion. These individuals might feel trapped, struggling every day with the thought that their heart isn’t truly in their work. The statistics shared by the NMC highlight a significant problem that needs immediate attention—not just by the authorities but also by medical students themselves. It's crucial to find ways to manage mental health, to focus on one’s own journey, and to resist the relentless pressures that come with the territory. #MedTwitter

We doctors should stop stop justyifjng our salaries.
Doctors should be highly paid.
Period.
The duty if healthcare is not of doctors but Government.
If you can’t visit a govt hospital due to queue/poor hygiene etc etc
Question govt.
not the doctor who is private citizen.

6) Removal of seat leaving bond/penalty
7) Removal of Compulsory Rural Service Bond
Both should be reconsidered and removed at earliest.
Furthermore, unethical practices like to withholding documents or refusing to declare results due to non payment of any bond aren't supported by @NMC_IND and in that case, appropriate actions will be taken.
5) Request for Leave should be judiciously considered and not unreasonably declined.
If there is an increased clinical workload, the hospital/medical college should hire more senior residents & medical officers.
4) E - Complaint Portal of NMC :
Complaints will be acknowledged within 3 working days, reviewed within 14 working days & resolved within 30 working days. (Portal yet to be started)
Recommendations of National Task Force @NMC_IND for Mental Well Being (of Doctors/Medical Students) are released :
1) Residents work no more than 74 hours per week, with no more than 24 hours at a stretch. One day off per week, One 24 hours duty & 10 hours shift for remaining five days.
2) Strict adherence to NMC regulations for a weekly one day off is crucial.
(It's imperative to recognize that PGs and Interns primarily serve educational purposes rather than filling gaps in healthcare staffing.
