Donald Trump’s relentless crusade to remake Washington D.C. in his own repulsive image now includes plans to cut down Washington DC's oldest grove of cherry trees along the Mall and eliminate the public biking path and picnic areas, all so he can build a Trump golf course on public land, using OUR tax dollars, and taking OUR spaces away from the public so that he and his pedo buddies live the high life.

Sharp-eyed photographers noticed Trump was carrying plans showing a FAR more extensive redevelopment of the golf course than federal officials told the public.

The Washington Post reports “The plans, visible in photographs taken during Trump’s visit, seem to stretch the redesigned golf course across nearly the entire East Potomac peninsula, extending play to the shoreline. The renderings do not appear to show several of the park’s best-known public amenities, including the riverside bicycle trail, the miniature golf course and Washington’s oldest grove of cherry trees.”

“It would also expand golf into roughly 50 acres of parkland now used for picnicking, fishing, cycling and other recreation.”

Trump will stop at nothing to take EVERYTHING from us – our healthcare, our rights and freedoms, our national dignity, our rule of law, our clean air and water, and now even our public spaces and recreation areas.

As soon as Democrats retake the White House, everything is going back to the way it was before. Full de-Trumpification has got to be one of the first things on our very, very long list of priorities.

These trees were a gift from the Japanese and the oldest in DC

When Nats Park was built, the owners purchased cherry trees specifically bred to bloom early

Planted them in the outfield and cared for them lovingly

Like these trees have been cared for for years and years

They would early in time for Opening Day

When the entire city was covered in pink blooms

Thousands of Americans plan trips to DC to see them

And the monuments

And tour the WH entering through the majestic East Wing

On tours that were managed by the First Lady’s office

Trump doesn’t give a damn about history, heritage, tradition, relationships with foreign allies

If he did, he wouldn’t have unceremoniously torn down the East Wing

BREAKING: Trump FREAKS OUT and unveils an insane new strategy after the Supreme Court humiliated him by upholding birthright citizenship.

The MAGA train is fully off the tracks now…

“The Supreme Court upheld Birthright Citizenship, which is too bad for our Country, but we can easily make it up in Congress through Legislation, with the support of the President, that has now been determined during this process,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“No long and unwieldy Constitutional Amendment is necessary! Congress should start TODAY to work on ending expensive and unfair to our Country, Birthright Citizenship,” he added. “They will have my Complete and Total Support! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

In reality, Congress has no power to overturn birthright citizenship through legislation. As confirmed by the Supreme Court’s ruling today, all children “born in the United States, to parents unlawfully or temporarily present, are subject to the jurisdiction of the United States and are citizens at birth under the 14th Amendment’s Citizenship Clause.”

In other words, their right to citizenship is hardwired into the Constitution. To strip that right away, Trump would need to propose a constitutional amendment which would require either 2/3 of the House and Senate voting in favor of it (an impossibility given the hyperpolarization of Congress and the blatantly racist, partisan nature of Trump’s demand). Or 2/3 of the state legislatures would have to vote to hold a constitutional convention. In either scenario, 3/4 of the states would have to vote to approve the amendment proposal. There is virtually zero chance of this happening.

If Trump instead attempts what he described in his post and somehow manages to ram through a Congressional repeal of birthright citizenship, that legislation would just end up right back in front of the Supreme Court, which would overturn the bill and affirm today’s ruling.

Trump is out of options but he can’t admit that because his xenophobic base is too lathered up over this issue. If he concedes that he has no power to end birthright citizenship, that would be one too many failures for the right-wingers who grudgingly overlooked his Epstein coverup and Iran War.

This court decision is existential for Trump. Unfortunately for him, the Constitution is stronger than his fascist maneuvers!
