The only GaaS game that has made any profit whatsoever in any of this was Destiny. Yeah, I'd be pissed too...so I'd put a skeleton crew on Marathon temporarily, and move all active developers back to Destiny to get back to yellow

As a massive Playstation fan, if this stuff about Sony and Bungie are verifiably true, this puts a massive red stain on Sony’s reputation, and makes me cautious to continue to invest in their platform

@xonebros The issue isn’t the game didn’t sell. It’s the cost to make the game is bloated given the type of game it is and the market for said game

There was no way crimson desert doesn’t sell 5M copies. The opposite risk existed for SoM

Destiny 2 brought so much money into that studio they were able to incubate 4 projects alongside it, one of those being marathon

I can’t fully wrap my head around the decision to put down the cash cow
