The man who spent years accusing Hillary of ‘acid washing’ her emails and hammering her servers is charged with trying to erase security camera footage of his alleged crimes.
It’s all projection, all the time.
Every accusation is a confession.
Every member of congress should go inside the freshman building in Parkland where the slaughter of my classmates and teachers happened before the building is demolished.
If you’re not gonna pass better guns laws you should have to see what the consequences are.
That video of Mitch McConnell is tough to watch but not nearly as tough as it is for the many millions of people in our country who can't afford lifesaving and life-dignifying health care specifically because of McConnell's career-long efforts to ensure they don't.
We've known for years that the Gulf Stream may collapse in our lifetime, which would result in a 3-5ft sea level rise along SC.
Yet, Nancy Mace and other climate deniers voted NO on the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill.
The time to repair a roof is when the sun is shining. We need better for #SC01 and our country.

I am pretty sure Matt never lived in a communist country. Or he just lost his mind somewhere along the way…
Hey Matt- communism and feminism are two completely different things. Communists make me sick. And I am a proud feminist. Those two things are not related at all.
Senator Tuberville is single-handedly holding more than 275 military nominations. Last night I spoke on the floor to make this clear: it’s reckless, it’s hurting members of our military and their families, and our country deserves better.
Apparently over 60,000 absentee ballots haven’t been returned in #Ohio for the August 8th Special Election. Make sure that’s not you or anyone you know. Too much is on the line.
@WesleyHuntTX Basic knowledge of how this all works would be a good start for you. SS protection for presidential candidates apparently only starts 120 days before the election. And the POTUS immediate family has it automatically. So paying attention to actual rules would be a good idea…
Senator Tuberville’s blockade is preventing promotions for officers in his own state, including the next director of the Missile Defense Agency.
They're responsible for defending the U.S. from incoming missiles.
Do we really want a leadership gap at the Missile Defense Agency?
If there is a unnerving thought that I have from time to time, it’s that while Jack Smith, the CIA, FBI, NSA and other national security related agencies…may know exactly what intelligence documents Trump had/has, and possibly what bad actors may have had access to them, they likely have no way of knowing, when, how…and by whom, this information might be used in the future, to attack or otherwise bring harm to American citizens and innocent people around the world.
This is what Donald Trump…a former President of the United States of America….has done to us. This is the vulnerable position that Trump was happily willing to put this country in for his personal gain and ego.
There have already been people working on behalf of our national security who have lost their lives around the globe, because of the recklessness and the irresponsibility with which he handled his Presidency. There will likely be more.
As of today, it's been 14 years since the $7.25 federal minimum wage was last raised.
@POTUS supports raising the wage to at least $15.
MAGA Republicans have repeatedly blocked an increase.
What do they have against millions of working families making more?
Here are my thoughts and what I would say to him.
I want to preface this conversation by saying that I respect our friendship and value our connection. I believe we can disagree on many things and maintain our bond, but some beliefs are deeply ingrained in me, and I find it challenging to be close to someone who disagrees with them.
Support for Donald Trump is one of those areas. I understand that we all have different viewpoints and perspectives, and it's not about political affiliations for me. I could be friends with someone who aligns themselves as a Republican or Democrat, Libertarian or Green Party member. I believe in the diversity of thought and respect that we may have different political priorities.
However, my issue with Trump goes beyond his political ideology. I perceive him as someone who consistently disregards democratic norms, undermines institutions that are key to our nation's stability, and displays a lack of respect for the people he was sworn to serve.
From my perspective, it's not merely a matter of supporting a political figure, but it seems to be an endorsement of these behaviors, which to me, is deeply troubling. I fear the long-term impacts of these actions on our democracy and the values I hold dear.
When I think about someone supporting Trump, I feel like I'm in Germany during the 1930s, and someone is supporting Hitler. I understand this is a heavy comparison, and I don't mean to equate Trump to Hitler directly. However, the essence of my concern is about what their support may represent: an endorsement of autocratic tendencies, disregard for democracy, or xenophobic rhetoric, which I strongly oppose.
I am sharing this not to convince you to change your views but to help you understand why I feel this way. It's not about politics but rather my values and deep love for democracy and a more equitable and empathic society. And when those fundamental values are in conflict, it becomes challenging for me to sustain the same closeness in our relationship.
I hope this helps you understand my perspective. It's not my intention to push you away, but to communicate openly and honestly about something that's causing me discomfort."
