Commentators just said there were 1600 more HRs this year over last year. A HR record was just tied set in 1995. Strike zone is smaller. Pitchers have to dang near throw it down the middle. Preparing for pitchers has always been a thing. @NCAASoftball you have to make a change.

@MikeMcM_ @ShaneSparksBTN my daughter plays college softball. They have a fall Season for 6 weeks. Practice starts 1st week of January. Season starts 1st week of Feb. 56 regular season games then conference & ncaa. Seasons are way too long!

Why is a regular season 56 games?This doesn’t include travel, practices, lifts, community service, laundry& let’s not forget the “student” part of their life.
