Coolest teacher technology trick I learned this year?

Adding the dash (-) between the “t” and “u” of any YouTube video and it takes away the ads and all of that. It’s super cool and makes the video less tacky.

@TiredElementary I made a lot of videos and screen recordings last year to help with this so I could front load some of it before starting the actual lesson. I also sent it to parents so they could support. Once they mastered it I always tried to use the same format. Hope this helps

I know this is a different platform but I’ve just found the Mote @chromextensions to leave voice recorded feedback and it’s great. The student doesn’t need to install the extension for them to hear it.

Just this week I discovered another great way to support students. #Mote @chromextensions which allows me to leave audio feedback in comments and students do not need to add the extension to listen. Students loved it and I found it to be a more authentic way to give feedback.
