Coolest teacher technology trick I learned this year?
Adding the dash (-) between the “t” and “u” of any YouTube video and it takes away the ads and all of that. It’s super cool and makes the video less tacky.

Love to see students take strategies and apply them. After introducing sketchnoting to Year 4 some students decided to use it as a means to take notes when visiting the Year 6 Living Museum. @nations4b @EcolintGeneva @sundqvistmelis
@TiredElementary I made a lot of videos and screen recordings last year to help with this so I could front load some of it before starting the actual lesson. I also sent it to parents so they could support. Once they mastered it I always tried to use the same format. Hope this helps
@bri_huang@_deardata We used this book as a starting point in Grade 5 this year to learn about different ways of sharing data. It was so awesome!!! The students came up with some amazing ways to share the data they collected.
Just this week I discovered another great way to support students. #Mote@chromextensions which allows me to leave audio feedback in comments and students do not need to add the extension to listen. Students loved it and I found it to be a more authentic way to give feedback.
