Why do the courts shut down for long summer breaks when they have a backlog of tens of thousands of cases they need to tackle? I’m guessing this is an old colonial rule playing out since the ‘lords’ needed a summer break to avoid the heat. Is it?

Bankers are already doing late sitting of 12 to 14 hours on daily basis. Whom are already working for 12 to 14 hours a day how can work for 6 days a week.😭
