Democrats think folks in North Carolina won’t notice what’s really going on with their primary election gimmick.
Congressman Tim Moore is the ONLY Republican candidate running for Congress in NC-14 — VOTE in the primary. Early voting starts tomorrow.

Thank you, President Trump, for bringing Iryna Zarutska's family from NC-14 to the Capitol tonight.
It was a beautiful moment. We're making America safe again, AND we're going to hold reckless judges accountable. Time to pass the Judicial Accountability for Public Safety Act!

For decades, @RoyCooperNC has been Teflon. This new scandal is likely to stick.
This is not the usual kind of campaign hit where an opposition researcher digs up an old quote and tries to make it sound sinister. It’s a concrete decision with real-world repercussions that are only now coming to light.

Back in the height of Covid, activist groups sued Governor Roy Cooper calling for inmates to be released because of the pandemic
The parties settled and 3,500 prisoners were granted early release. The list of those 3,500 people was never made public. Today I confirmed DeCarlos Brown was on it.
Despite being on the list, prison officials say he wasn't released because of it.
NC DAC says Brown was released on September 20, 2020 after completing his mandatory minimum sentence and he was put on post release supervision.
On February 6, 2021 Brown was arrested again.
But instead of being sent back to prison, on February 15, the hearing officer reinstated his post release supervision.
10 days later, the settlement agreement was signed. DAC says the settlement allowed the state to count offenders retroactively and that's how Brown ended up on the list.
A spokesperson for Roy Cooper says anyone accusing Cooper of allowing Brown to be released early "is lying." Brown was serving time for robbery with a dangerous weapon. Senate Leader Phil Berger wants to know how many of the remaining 3,499 were convicted of a violent crime.
Brown is in federal custody and is accused of stabbing Iryna Zarutska to death on the light rail in Charlotte last summer.

Tax season kicks off this week!
Thanks to President Trump and House Republicans’ Working Families Tax Cuts, this year’s filings come with the biggest tax relief in American history.
More money in your pocket, where it belongs. 💵
Had a productive meeting today with Governor Stein, Grow NC, and members of the North Carolina delegation here at the Capitol.
We had an honest conversation about what support is still needed, where the holdups are happening across all levels of government, and how we can keep working together to rebuild Western North Carolina and strengthen our disaster response going forward.
Proud to see three of my bills included in the @RepublicanStudy budget — our conservative roadmap to restore America's golden age.
These bills reflect our core priorities: securing the border, standing with law enforcement, and putting taxpayers first.
Nick Shirley’s report is only the tip of the ice berg, Medicaid and SNAP fraud cases are next!
The real victims of systematic fraud, overall, are the taxpayers and the people that truly need the services.

Really? A 20-time criminal broke into an innocent teacher's home and murdered her in cold blood.
This was preventable. Jail is absolutely the right place.
It’s been a busy and productive 2025, fighting for NC-14 in Congress and delivering real results, like helping return $7.5 million to constituents and resolving over 600 federal casework issues.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve, and ready to keep working in 2026.
America is finally respected on the world stage again.
Every day, this administration delivers on promises made, promises kept by cutting regulations, lowering costs, and creating jobs.
The winning is just beginning.
