🚨 Dear @SecDuffy @SeanDuffyWI @USDOT Please DO NOT give @santamonicacity $2 MILLION grant to study “capping” the 10 freeway for a park because they’re misusing federal funds to plan to REMOVE this critical transportation artery!

Council has called the freeway, the end of Route 66, which converts into Pacific Coast Highway once it reaches the ocean and the main route to Malibu, an “environmental disaster.” Removing it would cause a transpiration & greater environmental catastrophe. They want us on BIKES instead of cars.

This is the same city whose @DemSocialists aligned council has voted to:

-Tear down many high rise parking structures by the BEACH & Third St Promenade for $2 million/unit (including land) homeless housing

-Destroy the city’s essential & historic AIRPORT in about a year with many planning to turn it into homeless & affordable housing

-Destroy Bergamot Station, the west coast’s largest public arts complex, to build even MORE “homeless & affordable housing.”

Santa Monica is effectively bankrupt today due to a $300+ million child molestation settlement & an empty business/tourist district that’s been devastated by the very homeless addicts & criminals they’re planning to import by the thousands. Yet they plan to waste tax $ we don’t have on this madness. Time to cut them off.

Please do NOT give them one cent of federal taxpayer $.
