@Unshaped_Snow @SonjaShio No, but the argument for forgiving Blizzard for allowing rampant sexual harassment and assault was that “there are employees that had nothing to do with that that we want to support”. Which is also true of this game and developer.
@sebsgangel@alpha_convert That’ll show them. Not like you can have OS-based access controls that could just reject his machine’s access because it isn’t configured to company standards.
You don’t do network security, do you?
@alpha_convert@_meatbunny Did you purchase it or did your employer? Is it going to be able to access information on your employer’s network?
Should an employer not be able to secure their network? Follow up, when you inevitably say yes, HOW did you think that happens?
@stalbert@rod27614@VAKruta Tell me you're a moron without saying "I'm a moron". Seriously, every person that has suggested this has proven that they have nothing to add to the conversation
@gn0w1_ I certainly agree with this! In the case you pointed out, this was scoped and is expected! In an IDEAL scenario, in my opinion, we would document that the blue team had detected the test, had them document what their response would be, and proceed with the test
Breaking my long silence to get feedback on my opinion: A pentest isn’t just testing technology, but is also testing people, policies, and practices. If a member of a blue team detects a pentest, the proper response isn’t to tell said blue to ignore it. That’s a lazy pentester
@lil_lost This is exactly why I went the home gym route and found a trainer that communicates with me online. He reviews my videos, we have calls, and provides workouts and diets.
I have no patience for dealing with people that can’t do the bare minimum to care for others
@ZachFischer But will a company in this day and age really do anything if it doesn’t affect them financially? I’ve been active in the tech industry and seen quite a lot of bullshit. I’ve spoken out against my fair share too, but until it affects how that company is perceived? Nothing changes
