And what do the homeless actually get out of this? Almost nothing. The homeless industrial complex gets the money. I just took a homeless guy’s dog with me last night. The dog is sick. Likely because he has no dog food and the owner has been feeding him previously frozen burgers he got out of a dumpster. The owner has MRSA in both legs and can barely walk. A doctor gave him oral antibiotics. If he wasn’t homeless, he’d be hospitalized. I have only met one homeless person who got “help” from the city. They moved her into substandard housing ( paying the landlord a ridiculous amount of rent). The landlord demanded even more money from her. When she couldn’t pay, he kicked her out. The city did nothing despite repeated complaints- including complaints from her social worker.
@steph_johnsen@Redd986 With all due respect, the law in my state does not allow that. It actually is a crime all the way up to a felony. And if my state does not, it’s unlikely this state does. No indication that this dog was harming any animals or that the shooter even owns any.
You are ridiculous. Right, like three other dogs he shot in the past few months all attacked him. GSP puppies don’t attack people. Glad this psychopath was arrested. The reason we have laws against shooting dogs is not only to protect the dogs, it’s to protect the idiots shooting them from getting killed by the owner. We just had a guy kill another man over a cat.
@tutticontenti In Austin, Texas they’ll hold the dogs for 6 months allowing zero contact from anyone including staff. The cruelty has no bounds. No pets, no walks, no touching the dog at all.
Donald Trump was still president on January 6, 2021. He lost the election. Biden took office January 20. The whole dispute was related to Trump insisting that he won the election and that the results showing Biden as the winner should not be certified. You must not be from the United States.
