From 07:00 yesterday to 07:00 this morning, Moses Lake Firefighters have ran 34 calls to service ranging in several incident types including mental health crises, falls, fire alarms, traffic accidents, and a late night vehicle fire. So far today, we have run 9.

Moses Lake firefighters remain onscene of a roof collapse which caused a water flow alarm at 3:30 this AM. Utilities have been cut to the building and Moses Lake building department has been notified.

Fire is under control and mop-up is complete. No injuries to report. Fire was contained to two outbuildings behind their respected residences.

Moses Lake Firefighters are currently out on a working structure fire on the 3000blk of Lakeshore Dr. Initial report of a fully involved structure with several vehicles threatened. Please avoid the area.

Approximately 40acre fire is now contained. Moses Lake Firefighters have been working to contain a fire first reported at 1:40pm on Wheeler Rd. Difficult access due to heavy marsh land. Thank you to Grant County FD #5 for providing mutual aid.

Moses Lake Firefighters off to a fiery start to their Monday. Responders were called this morning to a fully involved motor home on E. Broadway Ave. Fire was quickly suppressed to avoid spread to surrounding exposures. No injuries reported.

Fire suppression continues as hazmat incident has been deemed safe enough to continue defensive operation

Moses Lake Firefighters are currently assisting GCFD4 with a county wide all call for the #WashingtonPotatoFire While the City of Warden is under Level 3 evacuation, firefighters continue to work on suppression efforts while mitigating an active hazmat situation.

For Firefighters everywhere, the 4th of July brings the potential for a very busy night. This year was no exception, as Moses Lake Firefighters ran 16 calls in a span of 2 hrs. We’d like to thank Grant County FD 5 for the help while we mitigated several firework related calls.
