Battery problems with VAG EV cars that could cause fires are causing the cars to be uninsurable & hence illegal to drive.
Not only car insurance, also house insurance is being refused if these EVs are parked nearby

In Jan '24, the @fia ultimate authority on regulation interpretation (the ICA) ruled that a Race Director must 'fully apply' the Safety Car regulations. Something that FIA admit did NOT happen at #AD2021.

ICA confirmed that they have the power to change a classification and would apply to 'very restrictive circumstances'.

We need AD21 referred to ICA so they can decide whether those restrictive circumstances apply to AD21

A sad example of community note contributors being misinformed.
There is a difference between actual sales as a trail indicator of what happened versus demand being a leading indicator of what people intend (or want) to happen.
E.g there may be falling demand for Red Bull energy drinks (people would prefer an alternative), but if it's the only one stocked in the shops & bars then people buy it as the only option. Demand is low, but sales are high.

@Motoring4less @Pirelli @blackcircles @ats_euromaster I start the search for new tyres with enough tread that I can last 3-4 months. This leaves time to wait for discounts to become available on my preferred brands. Just bought 2 @goodyear discounted at @ats_euromaster so worked out cheaper than the lower price alternatives

@GayCars @Pirelli 'Cheap' tyres are usually a false economy. Brands with good price / performance include Dunlop, Avon, Hancock.
Consider these as alternatives to more expensive Pirelli, Good Year & Michelin
