MoyuQuant Free v1.2.4 for Windows is a manual full ZIP. Back up data/ and install into a clean directory. SHA-256: 4d6a953bc955a929126f6e28d70812e8dc5d978c1eea7798d5d4c7b929681931 GitHub: https://t.co/v4WBrvEhrH No signals/promises/advice. Crypto perps are high-risk.
@Stubrofx Reconnect logic is also risk logic. Define stale-data timeout, skip partial candles, reconcile open orders after reconnect, and log exchange maintenance separately. A silent gap shouldn't look like a signal.
@Lev_NQ Turning discretionary experience into rules starts with naming the decision: setup, data available at that moment, entry basis, invalidation, exit, and exposure. Anything unnamed stays as hindsight.
@thenexus_team@sifatXcripto Small accounts still need explicit limits: max exposure, order-size basis, max adds, invalidation rule, and a way to stop everything. Cheap automation doesn't make risk small; it can just repeat mistakes faster. Not investment advice.
@0xEgorAI First run should be boring: testnet or read-only connection, verify balances and symbols, inspect one order intent, and only then consider a small live path. Speed is not the safety check.
@MacroLeveraging@OmeniSteph93105 Manual trading often becomes tab management: one chart for trend, one for execution, one for news, and one spreadsheet trying to remember why the alarm mattered. The workflow breaks before the strategy does.

@ventos99 Walk-forward isn't a magic label. I want to see the schedule, whether parameters were chosen inside each window, and whether the same rule survived later windows without re-optimization.
@CryptoMavka@qwinsi0x Slippage isn't one fixed bps assumption. It changes with size, side, spread, volatility, and order book depth. A backtest based only on last price can be optimistic by construction.
@NullContex1s@ItsNessaOnX Paper trading proves plumbing, not edge. It catches order mapping, reconnects, and state errors. It doesn't fully prove liquidity, stress behavior, or how a real drawdown feels.
@Quantradin@yetanother2024 @MichaelFei70836 @BRW_Solo Overfitting usually announces itself through fragility, not complexity: small parameter changes flip the result, one market regime carries the curve, and costs erase the edge. Test neighborhoods, not only one lucky point.

I'm building MoyuQuant, a crypto perpetual trading workstation for OKX and Binance. No signals. No profit promises. This thread explains what it is, what it is not, and where to try Free 1.2.1.
@EzatiJoseph This is the core. Map failure modes first: timeouts, partial writes, duplicate delivery, bad input, restarts. Then make each one visible and idempotent. Production survival is designed, not hoped for.
@xtrskcapital Agreed. A kill switch needs persisted state, explicit expiry, restart-safe recovery, and reconciliation against venue reality. Test the failed-restart path as carefully as the happy path.
