We're rolling out a fix for the issues with add-ons right now! It will automatically be applied, so you don't need to take any steps to make add-ons work again & all your data should be unaffected.
Again, we're really sorry. More to come soon.

Mozilla @Firefox 62 (currently Beta, Dev Edition, and Nightly) and newer support a new TLS API for WebExtensions.
I've developed what I hope a useful and comprehensive certificate viewer using those APIs, and I would love for your feedback. Thanks!

Thanks to @therealntim, and some groundwork laid by our excellent MSU students from last semester, we have preliminary support in today's Nightly for the ntp_background and ntp_text theme rules for WebExtensions (these rules set background and text colour for the New Tab page).
@mozamo@MozWebExt Guess what you get if you marry sinon-chrome and webextension-polyfill? You get to TDD your way into building a WebExtension with proper mocks/stubs/spies. Guessing it was not the intent of webextension-polyfill but it is a nice use case https://t.co/sqtJzR1qQb
Also on @mozilla’s @bugzilla, the updated New Bug page makes it easier to report a bug in @FirefoxDevTools or @MozWebExt, both of which now have a standalone product for better discoverability. https://t.co/VY7k65MH7W 🦊📝👍
Two great user-interface experiments from the @FxTestPilot team, one about easy quick browser theming (Color) and other about multitasking and bridging mobile/desktop workflows (Side View). Both are enabled by great @firefox webextensions APIs. Give them a try! https://t.co/8cR70pTpvO
If a tree falls in a forest… does it make a WebExtension?
@judydemocker's interview with Yuki “Piro” Hiroshi, author of the Tree Style Tabs extension about migrating TST to #FirefoxQuantum! https://t.co/n4jz1xNyAZ
Quantum in Style! Nope, this time it's not about Stylo but @_ntim_ takes us on a scenic rollercoaster ride through the new Theming API available for addons in #FirefoxQuantum & onwards! https://t.co/7dhVtRF3R8
