Ten years ago today Farage unveiled his racist "Breaking Point" poster.
Within hours a far-right sympathiser murdered the MP Jo Cox.
Instead of apologising, Farage went on to verbally attack her husband.
Farage has always been scum.
Never Vote Reform.
This platform is absolutely insane at times; full of the very worst and very best of humanity .. and bots! I could not have made it through another year on here without you! #NewYear2026 🎉
I am pleased that Amol Rajan, the host of BBC’s Today, has been forced to apologise for calling benefits claimants ‘scroungers’. Let us be clear - such language is unacceptable. We can and will call you out for using such language.
The only people who support removing serious criminal trials from juries and handing them to volunteer magistrates are people entirely unaware of the reality of magistrates’ court justice.
And which paper has been in the forefront of the charge against the shoddy standards at the BBC? 🤔
Not splicing two bits of comment together, instead making the quote up entirely 🤷🏻♂️
Imagine being an actual qualified lawyer and believing that a jury verdict in a Crown Court trial sets a precedent.
The legal equivalent of a doctor believing that you breathe through your kidneys.
Exquisitely, humiliatingly, unforgivably stupid.
This is why the police don’t immediately release names of suspects to appease the baying online mob….
The life of the 35 year old, who has now been freed, would have absolutely been destroyed if his name had been released
Chris Mason “reporting”on “the foul-up and foibles of the former Deputy Prime Minister” in Downing St for #BBCNews. Sly, snide & so full of himself with his exclusive “sources” & so cavalier with his opinions on carefully selected targets. Needs taking down a peg or three.
@DermotMurnaghan So sorry to hear this Dermot. Thank you for these tweets which will help raise awareness.
Also v relieved your diagnosis hasn't diminished your enthusiasm for slipping into the lycra and getting out on the road...
It's just repellent how instead of policy this regime gratuitously abuses sometime allies - Canada and Denmark - and does so with malicious lies cooked up in their stew of imperialist greed

Absolutely have to call-out Isobel Oakeshott.
To say benefit claimants are 'parasites', sit on the sofa, drive their 'free motability' is completely outrageous.
At @scope we call out ableism. Call out discrimination. And to not let language like this go unchecked.
Shame.
A very sad decision - @BBCHARDtalk is known watched and admired right around the world - it’s a place where world leaders have been held to account like no other - what is the @bbc thinking? And @stephensackur is a great presenter
Putting aside any debate about causes there are three big public policy failures that have made it harder to manage these riots:
1. Stopping processing asylum seekers - leaving more in hotels and vulnerable to attack.
2. Cutting police numbers (still below 2010)
