@StephanieMantle continuing to use BTC to encourage 6th graders to think & persevere through non-curricular tasks to start the school year. It was encouraging to see students talking about math and how to approach the problems in different ways. #FHSD#Hollenbeck@pgliljedahl

Visiting Francis Howell MS and the 6th grade math teachers dressed up as officers as their students solve a mystery using prime factorization. #FHSDlearns#FHM@FHM_KLongo
What a great way to start math in middle school! @StephanieMantle had here 6th graders working on a non-curricular task using VNPS and random grouping. Great math discourse and kids actually thinking on the first day of school. Great job!! #BTCs#FHSD@DrKlouse

Great day of learning for math teachers across the district, the state, and teachers from the state of Washington. Math teachers learning how to make classrooms more student-centered plus much more. Excited to see our classrooms turn into thinking classrooms. #FHSDlearn
Great PL this past week at #FHSD. Thanks to the Teachers, DCs, MLT, Content Leaders, Principals, and District Leaders who were able to attend the Leadership PL to support math teachers across the district. I am excited to help support this learning. Thanks Tom Stricklin. @CPMmath
