First week completed at my new school. I have to say that it has been an amazing experience and I'm looking forward to Monday for the first time in ages. #TeacherTwitter
So Andrea Jenkyns has said she’s at the end of her tether which is why she flicked the finger. I’m pretty sure every single person in education have been at the end of their tether at some point or another in the last couple of years but… 🤷♀️
Finally home after a school trip to the cinema and Greenwich Park. Glad to say that the kids didn't show me up in my endz 🤣 They were a credit to themselves and the school. Shame that they're leaving so soon! #Year6#Primary
@MrDohertyY1 Scrap marking & do whole class feedback instead. Make reports to parents short (see @MichaelT1979), do pupil book study rather than book scrutiny/data drops. No photocopying LOs or sticking paper on paper. Stop ‘evidencing’ stuff.
@PrimaryRocks1 Year 5 make soups based upon seasonal vegetables whilst Year 6 should be making a rice based savory dish, however, we made enchiladas this year 😋
One thing I love about teaching primary is you can be the worst artist, but whenever you draw the kids will act like you’re Michelangelo unveiling the Sistine Chapel.
