Hopefully this video helps teachers who are wanting to make Turn & Talks more effective in their classroom.
My students are used to T&Ts so I did skip a step of checking for understanding of my directions before saying “Go!”

Reading education blogs changed my life, so I want to do everything I can to share and amplify recent blogs. Here's a list of some I've really enjoyed, and I'll try and get some suggestions of quality free blogs out regularly.
Please do share and subscribe if you can - writing blogs is an intensive process and authors need encouragement or they will stop!

We are stacking a new habit - Bookmark Mondays. Over the week (like many I guess) we save lots of posts that we want to return to or explore in more detail. Like this amazing resources from @MrGoodwin23 and @teacherhead which we have come back to, through our bookmarks, and will share as the feature CPD snack on our whole school Monday briefing today.

“Teaching is the hardest job you’ll ever love — one that fills your heart but can also drain your battery. The weekend isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity. Rest is how you recharge your empathy, reset your focus, and remind yourself that even ‘good stress’ is still stress. Balance isn’t selfish—it’s how you stay strong enough to keep changing lives.”

🚨KOs are great for teachers too! I decided to take the knowledge organizer structure I use for students and use it to create KOs for my SoL/CogSci PLC book study this year. Our focus is on Rosenshine’s principles and we will read @teacherhead “Rosenshine’s Principles in Action.”
@unisontheunion can I check who I am best getting in contact with to arrange for my membership to end? I have submitted an query nearly two weeks ago and emailed the membership services email for my region last week and no response from either.
Making Every Lesson Count by Shaun Allison & Andy Tharby is without a doubt, a brilliant teaching & learning book. It's one I revisit & regularly recommend to others. Getting to the heart of expert teaching in every classroom! 👏
@PearsonEdexcel Can trainee teachers join this too?
Can I also check if trainee teachers sign up for the online courses? (I’m considering the A Level Psychology: Maths/Statistics for A Level Psychology and GCSE Psychology for Non-Specialist Teachers)
