On June 12, bandits reportedly attacked the Goran Namaye community in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

At least 17 innocent people were killed, many others were injured, and several residents were abducted.

How many more lives must be lost before serious action is taken? It is unacceptable that Nigerians continue to live in fear while communities are repeatedly attacked by criminals. The constant killings, kidnappings, and destruction of lives have become a national tragedy.
