@ECR_Maths@CantabKitty Plus one for this, I am going spend some of my summer doing this as I am teaching A level next year and haven’t for a couple of years.
@RishiSunak 8 this is what military forces do. But this feels like this is a solution designed to generate a positive response amongst the sort of people who think the Navy opening up with small arms on people crossing the channel in inflatables is a good idea.
@ECR_Maths@BeanlyWife I think it’s the standard of short that turns up. My old school allowed shorts in the summer, the guidance was “tailored and reasonable length”, the outcome was gym shorts that allowed some of the boys’ anatomy too much exposure. That was an odd pastoral conversation!
I am almost sorry not be working in Suffolk for the rest of the school year. There hasn’t been much to enjoy as an NCFC fan recently but this might ease the pain.
Thank you. My mother never quite approved of me going to Walton Comprehensive (as it was called then), because its initials were WC.
Me - I couldn't be prouder to have attended a school where great teachers did what great teachers still do: opening doors into our futures.
@Chris0pt1m15t@tombennett71 I used to do this with shoes. Three things happened: everyone could write what they needed to, I got my pens back at the end of the lesson and very quickly they started remembering their equipment.
