@_MrLevick We have used them for the last few years. Based on the guidance given in the Y3 papers, we used this as a way to assess. It was mostly quite accurate with these numbers.
@_MrLevick Obviously, it will depend on your children but we found this to be a vaguely helpful guide because yes, the NFER scales scores meant all but 2 of my class were ARE when they weren't at all sadly.
So this week, inclusive LGBTQ+ fairytale picture book The Woodcutter and The Snow Prince by @MrEagletonIan. Sadly, it has incurred homophobic abuse - in unwavering support of LGBTQ+ authors everywhere I'd like to give away a class set of 30. RT to win + spread this beautiful book
@bbalston What a wonderful opportunity! Very generous of you - I know my only copy of Amari vanished off my bookshelves almost every week last year - definitely a page turner amongst my Year 5s.
@MissKhan__ We use the Support for Spelling document from the National Strategies a few years back. It may be slightly older but sets out everything quite clearly with the suggested activities to teach. Often it's a copy and paste onto a SMART slide. Very discussion based with children.

@MrsElliNQT These look fantastic! Could I be really cheeky and ask if you wouldn't mind sending across a copy? I feel I'll need them next year with my new class. Only if it isn't too much trouble for you. More than happy to DM my email if needed. :)
@ldlapinski Has to be this one. They look so happy driving their little speedboat! I can just imagine them screaming: "I'm going on an adventure, Ma! Be back for dinner."
So glad that my @TPositiveTC planner arrived for next year! I don’t think I’ve been this excited for stationery in a long while! Can’t wait to get started with it in September! #TeamInk
@NatashaBardon Immortals Fenyx Rising? Very similar gameplay to Zelda: Breath of the Wild that came out for Switch. Has a Greek Mythology focus. There are giant Lyres around the world you can play and there is definitely a horseback element!
