In my one Social Studies class we would often complete a Current Event in which students had to present on a topic. I could imagine how a Virtual space could help with some of the nerves. #wuedt6020

@DavidCrissman3 @cricket311311 I find that my students are very "put off" by the clunkiness of using a virtual keyboard. When asked to write anything at length they typically are very begrudged to type any more than a few sentences. #wuedt6020

@carmellatte12 I've found it most useful when I taught a period of Social Studies! Especially when dealing with ancient cultures. It was fascinating to give students a first-hand look at some ancient archaeological wonders like the Great Pyramids of Giza. #wuedt6020

@ClassTechTips @ClassDojo Ah! ClassDojo is a favorite in my 6th grade classroom! The kids love it and having an app on their iPad works wonders. I turn on visual notifications for point deductions so that the alert sound triggers some reflection on their actions to ensure it's not them #wuedt6020

@Hickman_wilmU 6th grade Mathematics. My students love Discovery Education and Gizmos as well as Google Classroom. The ability to have an online platform where students can work collaboratively is amazing! Googles suite of software is incredibly flexible and adaptable #wuedt6020

@AJohnsonCape I've found that in my 6th grade classroom, students struggle with mastering technologies period, and it's best to stick with a select few in which they can become proficient at navigating. We utilize Google Classroom and Discovery Education with a little Gizmos! #wuedt6020
