Coming from a scientific background and thinking that 'Bad Science' by @bengoldacre should be required reading, the Education Myths book by @researchED1 is like a breath of fresh air and much needed in the Education sector. Role on sensible evidence based decision making.
I have some great half term reading lined up. Thanks @mathsjem for such a colourful and complete guide. Also pre ordered the sequel from @mrbartonmaths, looking forward to its arrival.
Now this is the way to do inspiring mathematics. My five year old son is obsessed, he is now exploring his 'step numbers', square numbers and asking questions about numbers who can only 'stand tall'. Great work @CBeebiesHQ
Summer over but with some great reading done. Thanks @Mathgarden, @JohnCUrschel and @standupmaths for some inspirational ideas and some great maths fun. Now to get the students playing with maths.
Being a big time Ravens fan and a Maths teacher, have really been looking forward to reading @JohnCUrschel journey in both areas. Brilliant way to inspire the students.
