"As governor, one thing you’ll know with me: I’m going to tell it to you straight, because it’s my responsibility to give you the facts and information" 🤣
He then proceeded to give you zero facts and zero information.
Last night in Tampa, @JayCollinsFL explained in great detail the plan for property tax relief. He was able to reassure those who were concerned about the fear mongering going on from politicians who treat our money as their personal piggy banks.

This is the continuity argument in one clip.
@RonDeSantis makes the homeowner case: government is not “losing revenue” because it was never government’s money. Property-tax relief gives Floridians constitutional protection for their homes.
@JayCollinsFL explains the next phase: write it cleanly, close the gaps, stop the fee-and-impact-charge shell game, protect core services, and force spending discipline.
DeSantis put it on the ballot. Jay understands how to protect it.
The ballot measure is the mission. Jay Collins is the continuity of that mission.
Our Mission Continues. Keep Florida Strong!
Florida’s property-tax amendment is no longer a Tallahassee theory.
DeSantis forced the fight, the Legislature sent it to voters, and now homeowners need a grassroots army to beat the local-government fear machine before it defines the issue first.
If local governments plan to scream police, fire, roads, and schools, the grassroots must answer with facts, mockery, and the simple truth: homeowners are not revenue livestock.
DeSantis Gave Homeowners the Ballot. Now We Must Give Them the Argument.

Well, well , well.
Miami-Dade County taxpayers, don’t be fooled by the “we’ll have to cut police firefighters and teachers salaries if big meanie DeSantis gets his way" BS.
Your local government is ripping you off.
This property tax debate has become a civic literacy test, and judging by the discourse, Florida may need summer school.
People are talking about “property taxes” as if homestead revenue and non-homestead residential revenue, commercial property revenue, school funding, and total county revenue are all the same bucket.
They aren't.
That confusion is the opposition’s campaign strategy.
Educate homeowners before the fear machine does. 🐊
Today, @CaseyDeSantis and I enjoyed speaking with faith leaders from across our state at the Helping Our Pastors Engage (HOPE) training event in Orlando.
Churches and faith-based organizations have always played a crucial role in supporting the most vulnerable, especially children and families in need. In partnership with CarePortal and the Hope Florida initiative, HOPE is expanding opportunities for faith leaders and congregations to help Floridians in their own communities break the cycle of government dependency.
Fishback is not building a movement.
He is running an attention machine.
Villains, slogans, repetition, conflict, fake momentum, and enough digital smoke to make people think a meme candidate is a force.
Machiavelli made power visible.
I’m making the algorithmic clown show visible.
A breakdown of that attention machine:
If you can’t take the heat — get out of the kitchen.
Leadership matters, and Florida is blessed with fighters like @GovRonDeSantis and incredible law enforcement officers who have displayed bold leadership on dealing with issues like illegal immigration.
When Florida leads, America wins! 🇺🇸
Tell me who you associate with, and I'll tell you who you are...
As a sitting US Congressman, @ByronDonalds had a career criminal advising him, which says a lot about his character. Byron Donalds is not the kind of leader Florida needs for our great state.
@CollinsWarRoom Well, now you know why @CroakyWasRight always seems so prescient. It's not pattern recognition. He was sent back in time to stop this from happening.

The House may be willing to put the property tax amendment on the ballot, but removing the money to actually explain it to homeowners tells you the next phase of the fight.
The opposition will be loud.
Local governments will continue to scream police, fire, roads, and schools.
The unions and political consultant class it benefits will push advertisements with false narratives.
The grassroots will have to make the case.
Homeowners need to understand what this amendment actually does, what it protects, and how government will try to scare them out of keeping more of their own money.
Tallahassee moved the vehicle.
Now the people have to move the message.
Relief is step one.
Education is the fight now.
This is a major win!
The property tax amendment is heading to voters, and the Legislature protected school funding while expanding homestead relief.
That matters because it destroys the lazy opposition frame that homeowner relief automatically means gutting schools, police, fire, and roads.
But the next fight starts now.
Local governments will look for the shell game: fees, assessments, impact charges, and new ways to claw the money back while also doing their best to scaremonger over the ballot measure.
Government never gives up their ability to take your money without a fight.
