@TteacherTeacher You definitely need to do your research or get someone (like me) who gives you all the info you need. Staying on-site makes life easier with little ones and the value resorts are the most Disney!
@_MissieBee There are also many positives:
Conversations about life
Time with your partner when you're not just being parents
Trying new things together (like the day trips)
Finding out about them as people rather than as your dependents
Watching them grow and learn
@_MissieBee It's a different world and one of the biggest challenges is moving into a new role where you are secondary to friends and are no longer aware of all parts of their day. I go away with my boys individually on extreme day trips for some quality time together away from screens!
@TeachLeadAAli If you can leave it a bit more last minute, the Disney Monday tickets are another option: Disney Day Seats - Last minute theatre tickets | Disney Tickets UK https://t.co/wlu1bwKrSq and Today tix sometimes have good offers.
And ending the day with an inspiring session from @EarlyTrain about poetry being an opportunity for young people to find their voices and see themselves and their experiences.
