*Spelling Bees* never turn out as anything less than emotional & exciting! Congrats to 5th grader Duke, who beat all 5th *&* 6th graders in our Bee, to be crowned champion! His final word: "Transition."
Duke will represent us at the District in Jan!

**Congrats** to 4th graders Jesse & Lyric-scoring 2nd & 1st place, respectively, in words read this yr. Jesse has read 3,100 words, & Lyric is soaring to 3,300! We measure these in our eBook program-and couple the results w/ # of physical books checked out. Well done!
