@CathImogenLough @tes I'm a head of English in a primary school, and I am currently trying to work out how to maintain effective teaching of writing during remote teaching. It is the feedback element of writing that helps pupils make progress but so few pupils are sending in work to their teachers.
It's 630pm and I've finally shut down my computer, and tided my 'online/remote learning space' for the day, after it has been in constant use from 745am this morning. It's easy this online teaching lark... right? Now about eating something... #remoteteaching#edutwitter
There is some fantastic creativity going on in 6LC today! We are creating numbers using place value grids. Normally we would be using counters in school but check out how resourceful Oscar has been! #lockdownteaching#creativity
Week one of 2021 Spring term done! I can't believe it's only been a week, but when I look at how amazing 6LC have been and how quickly they have got on board with online learning, I'm very proud! Check out our highlights! @CrossleyFields rocks! #onlinelearning#lockdownteaching
Today I have seen the extraordinary efforts made by Heads, SLTs and teachers, to turn the mess handed to us 24hrs ago, into something that makes our children feel the world is ok and allow them to carry on learning regardless. All within 24hours. I am so proud to be a teacher.
School will be closed tomorrow for ALL children. Mr Long will be contacting the parents of key workers and vulnerable children tomorrow regarding key worker places in school. We will also write to all other parents tomorrow to inform you of our remote learning plans. Thank you
Self isolation and remote teaching is over (for now🤞🏻) and I've packed up my little classroom in my attic. Well done desk. You served me well! #backtoschool#teachinginthereals
