Speaking with in class kids, we realized it has been 8 months since they last wrote an anchor chart on paper. We have to be socially distanced as possible but I’m so excited to see them up & about thinking & analyzing. @wilsonyoungms#comparecontrastmap#safelylearning#glitter
No shield can hide my excitement and my smile about our work with kids. Whether at home or in person our students are rocking it! I’m renewed by teaching again. This is who I am! #educator4life#safeandhealthy@wilsonyoungms
I’m excited to see all the wonderful people of our campus in person at our campus. It’s been a long 5 months. It’s a tough situation but we are ready. I’m praying for a safe and healthy… https://t.co/5OIlEM9ELL

I’m thinking this would be awesome in an English classroom. You could have kids create a symbol from their reading and on each post it note their could be a quote, vocabulary word, etc. Now just need post it notes in multiple colors! @Postit 🥰 #alwaysthinking#divergentthoughts
So blessed to be honored by this sweet girl! I love ya, Mack! 😀 Even though I’m not at PHS I still have a tremendous amount of pride in my students there. Missing my seniors! #teacher4life#mojovolleyball
Activities like these are the crux of my teaching philosophy. Students learn in layers of meaning not through “drill & kill.” Does it require more time & effort on our part to prepare? Yes! But the end result is worth the effort. #learningisnotstandardized
“For students to think conceptually, they need opportunities to head up to the mountaintop, pause, and take in the entire forest.” Here’s how to do that. 🌲🌲🌲🌲

Welcome to “Rimergy!” Kids viewed movie posters of book covers to predict text & genre. They watched book trailers on a YouTube playlist to choose a book for lit. circles! Their “ticket” became bookmarks! Thank you Mr. Blaylock for the popcorn & water! #rangersup@wilsonyoungms
